Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
Amenities
Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is a quiet town which oozes a chic elegance and lacks the wild party scene of some of the other locations along the Cote d’Azur. The port is the centre of activity with quayside bars, good restaurants and small shops. Regular markets selling fresh produce and antiques can be found at the nearby towns of Beaulieu and Villefranche while there is a wide choice of retailers and entertainments in Nice, just a short journey along the coast.
Although many residents have private beach access Cap Ferrat does have three public beaches, the largest, and only sandy, beach lies north of the port and is home to most of the sailing and watersport activities. The more exclusive Plage de Paloma is located in a sheltered cove and faces north east over the bay of Beaulieu while the Passable beach is on the other side of the peninsula and overlooks the deep Rade de Villefranche sur Mer.
