Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

There are few large festivals in Cap Ferrat as these generally tend to take place in the bigger cities of the Cote d’Azur  but there are a number of small art, music and dance events which take place mainly during the summer months. However there are a couple of annual events:

Festival Courants d'Ère, Livres de Mer & Bateaux de Caractère (Jun)

Uniquely combining lovers of books, boats and the sea, this marine-based festival has taken place for the last few years in Cap Ferrat  and has become a key meeting for authors, artists, sailors and scientists whose work centres on the sea. The two-day festival offers a varied programme of reading, exhibitions and  film screenings as well as a number of activities, workshops and excursions . 

Les Azuriales Opera Festival (Aug)

Although recently scaled down to just a few performances these intimate opera recitals take place at the beautiful Villa Ephrussi Rothschild and magically combines the views and atmosphere of Cap Ferrat with beautiful music.
