Our museum client is dedicated to inspiring children and families to learn about themselves and our culturally diverse worked through a unique environment of interactive exhibitions and programs. The Guest Services Representative must be professional and reliable while working with this prominent museum in Manhattan.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$17/hr

Position Overview:

The Guest Services Representative must be open to working onsite, on a part time and on-call basis. The Guest Services Representative must be reliable, hard working and a team player. A successful candidate will be an open communicator and thrive in a busy, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Guest Services Representative:

  • Maintain the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, management, and guests in a positive and welcoming manner
  • Provide extraordinary customer service
  • Effectively communicate policies to guests in a courteous manner and remain knowledgeable of programs and activities to proactively inform guests
  • Always maintain a tidy work area, disinfecting the area throughout the day
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications for the Guest Services Representative:

  • Must be punctual, dependable, and have a positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to maintain a welcoming environment for all guests
  • Previous experience working in high volume environments
  • Previous work in customer focused and service-related industries
  • Standing required for a majority of the shift, as well as lifting items and boxes under 50 lbs.

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED is required
